I'm currently in Japan and would like to try and attend Treasure Festa 2014 www.treasure-fe...

Has anyone gone before and could give a few tips? Do they take credit cards at all or only cash?(I assume it's cash only) Also is there a list of the vendors/dealers attending anywhere? I'd like to look at who's releasing what.

Thanks in advance :)

The guide book is your entrance ticket, you have to show it in order to enter. You can also buy one at the very entrance of the event, but it's better to study beforehand with whom you wanna go first and where are they located before THAT specific kit you want is sold out.
Have fun!! : )

I am so Jelous. I need to get a job where I must travel to Japan in my next life. LOL

So the get in, you have to buy the book? Where do you go about finding it? Does animate or a place like that sell them?

No credit cards. Take as much cash as you're willing to pay. If you ran out of cash and there's something you want, the only option is to go to an ATM outside the event hall; and, in my experience someone will grab "that" last kit you were looking to buy. No dealer in my experience will "reserve you this item" until you get cash, it's all fair play first come first serve basis.

The Guide Book you get to enter the event is not only your entrance ticket, but it has the list and location of each dealer. You can buy at the entrance at the beginning of the event, or at hobby shops before hand. It is good to buy it before so you can check and study which dealers you want to go immediately before there GK run out.

Usually Treasure Festa is held at Tokyo Big Sight, and if you're lucky, the line will be waiting indoors as opposed to the WF line at Makuhari Messe. Still, it is advisable to buy you lunch from elsewhere far from the place of the event and to go as early as possible if you're hunting for specific kits.
