Hey everyone~

I was wondering if someone can help me...

I've been wanting this dakimakura for over four months, now. Ever since the day I first found it here on MFC, I have checked its entry and the KyoAni online shop page almost everyday. I just fell in love with it... I'm a huge fan of Azusa, and I like Jun too, and even though it's an expensive dakimakura and I'm far from being rich, I just had to have it.
During all this time, I was able to quietly scrape together enough money to get it (the actual cost of the dakimakura, plus Big in Japan's forwarding service fees and the shipping cost to me). Two days ago, on March 6th, I went to check the KyoAni shop page one last time before actually purchasing it, and... it's been removed from their site. It just disappeared. They had three different dakimakuras for sale, the one I wanted, which was Azusa and Jun, one with Mio and Ritsu and another with Yui and Mugi. Only the Mio/Ritsu one is available now kyotoanimation...., the other two... are gone.

I was devastated. I had trouble sleeping that night, after finding out it was gone. It's just... why? Why remove it? Didn't it sell well enough to justify its availability on the site? And, most importantly, why now... after I've been wanting it and saving for so long to get it. I had even contacted Big in Japan already, telling them I was planning on using their Forwarding Service soon.

I can't contact KyoAni directly (even though they do have a sort of inquiry or 'contact us' page), since I don't know Japanese (I've been using Google Translate to check their site, and was planning on using it to purchase the dakimakura, too). I've done a small search for the same dakimakura on other sites, and found it here, on Amazon JP... for 34,800 yen. Which is completely out of my reach, I mean, it's four times its original cost of 9,000 yen. Apart from that, no luck.

So...

Does anyone know of a way to still get it, for a reasonable price? Do you think there's still hope that it will show up again on the KyoAni online shop, maybe after contacting them, somehow? Or... does anyone have an unopened, unused one for sale, for around the same price as the KyoAni shop's price of 9,000 yen?

I'm used to my own bad luck, it's something I've had for years now. But this time it really crushed me, since I actually thought I finally was going to be able to get this dakimakura... and now I can't really see how.

If you have any ideas, or you actually have one you can sell, please either comment here, PM me or send me an email at hsc324.89@gmail.com

Thank you for your time~

loveregarding the field "お名前", i'm not very sure whether Latin characters are allowed, it looks like kanji only, but you could try the kanas too. the field "フリガナ" below it basically requires your name in furigana, using the katakana writing system. so nakano (中野) azusa (梓) would be syllabized as ナカノ for the left field, and アズサ for the right field. wikipedia has a katakana chart for this if needed. i'm guessing you're using BiginJapan's forwarding service, so you just have to make sure your name (whether it be in kanji or kana) should correspond exactly to your BiginJapan account name, which you're probably already aware of. good luck, close your eyes and take a deep breath, and tell yourself you'll make it through this and get that dakimakura :D!
Thanks so much for your help! :D It was exactly like that, I was able to finally create an account! It was kinda hard to translate my name to katakana, though... I hope I didn't get it wrong, it would be ridiculous. xD
I'll be ordering the dakimakura as soon as BiJ answers the mail I sent them with some questions. I just hope the payment part doesn't go wrong for some reason. ><

And also, thanks to everyone who took the time to help me with this! You're the best, I wouldn't have done it without you! :D

jiejieIt's still available at TBSishop: ishop.tbs.co.jp...
Considering it already sold out at KyoAni, you should probably order fast! :-)

I don't know what to say... Thank you so much for that link!! I thought it was gone forever, I didn't know there were two different shops that sold it!

...But now I have another problem... xD
I think the 'cart', 'checkout' and 'new account' pages on this site are different than on the KyoAni site. And when I'm creating a new account, it asks for my name twice. And Google Translate fails, or I fail... because I don't really know what to put here, and it doesn't let me continue if I don't enter exactly what IT wants. Here's a screenshot of that part of the page: i196.photobucke...
Anyone knows enough Japanese to help me here?... ^^U

If it is out of print the only way is to buy it from manda/yahoo/amazon for an absurd price, or get a bootleg. There are plenty of bootleggers around that are a third-ish the price of officials, if you just want the images and don't care about unscrupulous counterfeiters profiting off your beloved franchises.

Have you considered ordering a print with the art necessary to make a dakimakura of your dreams? This might be an option if you are far from affording smth expensive.
