They're part of my otp circle anyway. :>

    Thanks !
They're too cute together ~ I love a lot of characters from HQ, but since I'm roleplaying Makki (and Oikawa too) with a friend who plays Mattsun (and Iwa), I have a tendency to choose them more than the others XD

Fallen-Cloud3 vuotta sitten#19122937I...have no idea. It's never stated how old Guzma is, but he is someone who fled from home, so I'd put him in his early twenties, maybe.
I know, I didn't want to discredit him, I just think he could have said those things nicer/waited to see a finished work to credit things that are mostly apparant in unfished works. Never wanted to start a fight, though.
I love your coloured art, btw! It has that 'painting' look to it. You use a lot of different colours, which makes the skin look very realistic. Love the crown, too! The only thing that looks a bit stiff is the collar of the mantle that he wears. Aside from that, I think it looks really, really good. I especially like how you coloured the volleyball!
Oh, if you want to learn how to make more dynamic poses, then you could try out DesignDoll. It's a posing program with a great trial version! You can adjust height, body proportions, light sources and more! You can even pose every single finger.
In terms of expressions (I know you asked KalasRaven, but this is what I usually do): What I like to do is get a mirror and make silly expressions. I try to look angry, sad, furious etc. That way you can always use yourself as a reference for expressions and it is easier to push said expressions further. =)

The page you were looking for doesn't exist.' thing.

KalasRaven3 vuotta sitten#19094086Definitely push those facial expressions further!!! Push the angry to furious, push that crying to sobbing, push the smile to ecstatic! :D I teach art classes and I see this a ton, so I always tell my students to make their faces more expressive. ^_^ That being said your details and proportions are looking really nice and polished. Keep up the good work!!!

I find it hard to make expressions too. lol everything is my weakness
do you have any advice how to improve it?

Rajke3 vuotta sitten#19095904Your really have your own style. The eyes and nose of the characters in your sketches represents that aspect well. It is clear that you prefer to draw male characters. There is a male character that comes to mind when i see your sketches. And i'm curious how he would turn out by your hands. www.google.nl/s...:

Thank you! I'm scared of my art looking like others.
I'll try to sketch the guy tomorrow. :D

btw he's somewhat familiar to me tho =.=

    Bea20283 vuotta sitten#19091120Art blocks suck.

True! I can't even imagine what I want to draw, everything is blank. :/

nyugvo63 vuotta sitten#19092306Your art is stiff and sketchy. It's very pretty and stylish though.
What you wanna do is do something entirely different now. Strong lines, strong shadows, dynamic poses.
It's a nice change, you WILL have fun and it will benefit you in the future. Trust a fellow artist.

Yes yes it is. Very stiff. >A<
For dynamic poses, I'm still saving up for a certain anatomy tutorial site I found in google. I can't make my characters dynamic because I suck at doing a proportional figure. :(

Fallen-Cloud3 vuotta sitten#19093717I mean, art that wasn't coloured or cleaned up IS sketchy. Saying their art is sketchy is like proclaiming the sky is blue - they did not show a single coloured picture, so I think it is unfair to say their art is too sketchy. My uncleaned pictures have squiggly lines and scratchy portions, too. Likewise, they did not show dynamic poses, which I am sure they can draw. Rather stiff poses tend to be stiff, since there is limited movement to work with.
I agree that seeing them draw dynamic poses and strong shadowed pictures could benefit them, it benefits every artist, but basing an entire critique on pictures that are more sketches than polished works of art still seems a bit unfair. They are only trying to battle their art block, after all. =)
I'd love to see a coloured picture if they happen to have one to show to us, though. I love to compare colouring methods.

No no it's okay! What he said is true though. I'm pretty bad in anatomy so everything is looks somewhat abstract in terms of proportions. And yeah, I also want to get rid of those chicken scratches, but I also like them at the same time...so idk if I'll remove that.

In case you want to see a sample of my colored art. Here's one of them.
