kaitylee6 kuukautta sitten#77407635Mine was returned to sender and it never got an update, it went back to Amiami and no updates on tracking (or from Amiami)

so how do u know for sure it got returned ? i think they are keeping them (JP) and checking the chances and possibilities how they can dispatch them to their distentions

i believe this suspension means (we dont want any new shipments to these distentions right now) till they can send what they have already

My Air small packet order has been in 'Posting/Collection' since 3/31, and being shipped to Australia... can't wait to see what happens ._.

noctisity6 kuukautta sitten#77320090It seems like they have been backlogged for awhile considering many people's EMS packages have not even moved to outbound since mid March (and will be even more so now that they have to start sending SAL packages back to senders), so whatever is shipped via airmail/EMS to the USA moving forward will be stuck in their warehouses for at least 2 weeks before making it onto a plane.
Regarding AmiAmi, I've seen them offer to hold packages until SAL is available again, so if you're worried about packages being stuck in limbo, they're offering an alternative. I know you're hosting many splits atm, but if you'd be okay waiting, you may want to contact them.

OK, thanks :). It's good to know they aren't totally stopping EMS after what's there is sent, their message was a bit confusing.

I'm not super impatient about waiting honestly, but I'm afraid of packages getting lost in the mail. It'd be just my luck I just do air one time (like normal), and it gets lost in the pile. In particular, a package with a lot of splits in it, that would go way over the base air insurance claim, and then I'd have to find some way to get everyone their money back. :(. I'm thinking it'll be EMS or DHL for awhile for splits, and I'll have to use points to offset the difference. Luckily, it isn't a huge one on splits items, and I have a lot of points.

It's good to know they are holding packages for SAL if need be, though. If there's a lone split, I may do that. I wonder if they'd just hold them until Air is normal, probably not lol. That would actually be what I'd prefer the most (that way, the shipping isn't high, but it's at least safe at AmiAmi, as opposed to possibly lost), but I just don't think that's going to happen. I would guess I'd be OK with waiting for SAL if it wasn't a split I cared about as much, but that isn't fair to those in it, as people in it would be looking forward to it.

Hopefully, and the most ideally, the delays are only for a month or so, and everything is normal by like June or so. I doubt it, but it'd be nice.

Just an update. AmiAmi has now closed their eBay.com store until the J. Post shipping backlog gets resolved. Since when you buy through eBay, AmiAmi usually offers free shipping they were stuck to either turn to a more expensive shipper / method or shut down. They chose to shut down.

kaitylee6 kuukautta sitten#77340319In the same boat as you!
Ordered from Mandarake ($400+) and it's been over a week since it first said posting/collection. Makes me a little nervous since I spent a pretty penny and it's been stuck (but it is EMS).
All we can do is wait patiently and really appreciate everyone working to get out our packages ♡

I received one EMS package I had ordered around March 27th this past Wednesday. For me that's about a week longer than normal.

So for EMS, I wouldn't worry until it's been 2 or 3 weeks longer than usual.

On the other hand, I have an air small packet shipment stuck at same step on multiple trackers for 3 weeks.

So DO NOT order air. Go with EMS during this time.

I have two more EMS packages on the way, so hopefully it takes an extra week like previous one, not two weeks like it states in notice.

Make sure you use multiple trackers or use a combined one like parcelsapp.com/... (it has free web tracking on that site and also has a phone app).
