Ousaka Kotone - 1/7 (Native)Ousaka Kotone - 1/7 (Native)Review

WARNING! THIS REVIEW IS FOR 18+ DUE TO HER SEXINESS.

This was my first Native figure. The one that started my love for this brand.

Package

The package of this figure consists of 2 parts:
-a sturdy dark green sleeve with the silhouette of a banana cut out on both sides and the name of the figure in gold on the narrow side;
-a yellow inner box containing the figure with its name in gold on one side and a small image of a banana peel on the other. Very good quality and very durable looking.

Sculpting & painting

This figure is very well sculpted; the art style of Tony is captured quite good with realistic lines and a finish that is characteristic of Native: very crisp and no flaws. A banana can be placed into her right hand; it has a small notch that is positioned between her fingers and thus prevents it from falling off.

She has cast off abilities: with the figure comes an instruction leaflet of how to proceed.

Even though the figure itself has no flaws, this is unfortunately not the case with the pantsu. It has a strip that is to be pulled out of a corresponding hole, but this strip seems to be about 2 millimeters too short. As a result, you cannot connect both ends when you want to put the pantsu back on, thus they hang a bit loose. They are somewhat behind the figure, so it is not into plain view, but it keeps the sculpiting rate from a perfect score. It can be fixed though: take off the pantsu and use a hairdryer to soften the string with the strip (heat it only for a few moments, since it is already flexible material). Next, quickly put the pantsu back on and stretch the string gently with a push/pull movement of a thumb or finger using the body as a guiding surface. If done correctly, the string can be stretched enough for the strip to reach the slot. Finally let it cool and it should be fine now.

The figure connects to the school table by means of 2 pins (in the heel of the shoe and under her hand), but they do not fit smoothly and you need quite some force (especially with the hand; the pin does not insert fully here also).

you cannot seem to make ends meet... (but it can be fixed tough)

the connection does work though

As for the painting, this is done with very high quality; no flaws at all. The toning and shading is excellent; on the figure as well as the clothing and the table, so no complaints here.

even the fingernails are not forgotten

Posing

Kotone Ousaka is sitting nonchalantly on a school table with a banana in her hand with a teasing air of "come if you're up to it". Very sensual and cute. Because of the nature of her pose it is less suitable for a flat surface (if you want to omit the table for some reason). There are some possibilities, but that is up to your own imagination.

Base

The base is not a conventional flat surface, but a school table that acts as an integral part of the whole. It is quite detailed and realistically modeled with good use of shading. It is quite stable too, so it won't tip over easily.

Enjoyment

This Native figure looks great and provides a lot of visual enjoyment. The few issues that I mentioned earlier (pantsu and pins on the table) are not really conspicuous, so when you're not aware of them you wouldn't know that they are there at all. That being said, her cast off abilities, her great looks and her high quality finish are a pleasure to look at; in that respect, Native live up to its reputation as a great manufacturer of sexy figures.

chobittsu10 vuotta sitten#276117Yes, the prices of complete secondhand Native figures seem to skyrocket well above their original retail price. It is somewhat expected if you consider that they aren't manufactured in large quantities and because of their excellent quality they are very sought after...

chobittsu7 vuotta sitten#1202303Since it is flexible material, repairing it would be quite difficult; it would never be as strong anymore. Where did it break?

It broke on the top part of the strap. The top side not the bum side :)

I have included a way to fix the problem of the pantsu. You have to be careful when doing this, but in my case it worked and the pantsu is now as it should be.
