Before you read, please note that this blog is not relevant to figures or anime.
Also, I really hope that whatever is written/ linked does not either offend or frighten anyone.

I am a huge horror fanatic and I rarely get frightened. Not many horror-based media had really scared me. The one topic that frightens me is anything related to Satan. I was raised in a Christian household and I bare a cross on my neck, but I don't push this religion on people. To me, it feels nice to put faith into something and I am open about it.

Recently, my friend and I had watched "The Exorcist" (1973 film), which generally didn't scare me. Afterwards, I felt my curiosity was brought onto the topic of exorcism and demonic possession. So, I did some research and now I am just so frightened, yet intrigued. Especially after I found this story: www.spookscentr.... Just seeing photos of Annelise Michel or hearing the recordings of her voice frighten the living hell out of me, but in a sense where I feel endangered. If you would like to find photos of her in her possessed state, they are easy to find on Google search. I am not putting them on my blog. For some reason, I am much more disturbed than I should be.

Yes, I do believe in the supernatural. My entire family on my father's side has had supernatural encounters and experiences. My father, himself, has seen ghosts of departed family members. I have heard the ghost of my grandmother's dead dog- which my father had also heard the same night. My aunt lives in an old house, built in the 1800s, and she has seen many things. To me, all this is very much real and I am frightened by my findings in the topic of possession.

So, has anyone ever experienced anything supernatural?

Do you believe in exorcism and demon possession? How do you think people get possessed?

What frightens you?

I apologize for creating a blog post that is so irrelevant to the purpose of this site. I am just curious.
Also, I do not need to be convinced that supernatural forces are not real. It is what I believe in. I understand probably many people do not believe in this crap, but no matter what anyone says, I think I'll continue to believe in it. It's like how I believe in my faith- it strengthens my own purpose and goals.

Mary7 vuotta sitten#1630034... I have a lot of first hand experience with the 'demonic' side of the supernatural.
I haven't researched exorcisms.
I was also raised in a Christian family.
The things that happened to me sound unbelievable, I went through a two year period where I thought I was crazy, but they're true and legitimate.
Anyway, these things are scary but I advise you to not become too fixated on demons or whatnot, fear feeds those sort of things.
Feel free to PM me if you ever want :P

Even though I try to be a skeptic, there's too much evidence. I never see anything astral very clearly myself, so I'm not sure. Paranormal activities I often see are like locked doors slammed open by itself and something moving very quickly when there's no one but me in my house...
Hmm, maybe try watching this video, it's the best I could find with subtitles > www.youtube.com... (it's a recording from an old local tv program, so the video quality is not that well. Pay attention at 07.06 on the upstairs)
or look at photos from this article www.thecrowdvoi... (In Indonesian tho, the translation of title is "Scary, Walking Corpse of Toraja")

Of course they aren't crap or fake. Thanks for sharing and I appreciate the links. This is very interesting indeed!

Where the hell do you live? (country)
There are countries in which spiritual activity tends to be much more stronger than others. Maybe because people elect to tell stories for fun such as happens in rural areas in Latin American countries, which are very superstitious and since nights are much darker there due to lack of artificial light, it kinda opens the possibilities for a larger imagination on the matter.

I moved last year to a new house and within a month in the house, my neighbor from the house across the street, died. Weird that I was coming home right at the time the people were taking her out in the hospital bed all covered up.. kinda messed up right?
After a couple days, I took some chillaxing pill because I was stressed out due to work and all of the sudden, up until this day, I am not sure if the old lady with an angry face coming at me from the corner of the roof in my room, was real or I was half asleep half awake when I thought/dream of it. I know I woke up like screaming a lil bit, but it was strange....
To make matters worst, before I told my mom who was staying with me, she said she didn't know if she was awake or asleep as well but she said an old lady with a pillow over her face/head facing the window next to her...... I was freaked out and she was too. Luckily, we haven't seen anything like that again since then, but for a while, it was really creepy.

AstralFrost7 vuotta sitten#1628102I'm fairly certain my house has or had some sort of occurrence. It was 14 years old when we moved in and had one previous owner and no deaths as far as we knew. Much later we found out that the previous owners had a son who died of cancer, which may or may not be relevant. Take from the following what you will.
The first thing that happened was in the garage, which wasn't attached to the house. Every time I went in there, particularly at night time, I had the immediate impression of something staring at me with intense hatred. This feeling was so strong and consistent that I actively avoided going to the garage (we have another garage where we park our cars, which is attached to our house). I spoke about this with my wife who also mentioned the same feelings whenever she entered the garage. Months later I happened to enter the garage and I immediatley noticed that the sensation was gone and I found a plastic toy sword in the room. I took it out and showed my wife and she told me to put it back and that she had done something to keep the spirit at bay. I put the toy sword back and to this day I have never felt that intense hatred in the garage. I do still feel something is looking at me whenever I enter but it just feels more like contented observation or curiousity now.
The worst and scariest encounter I had was in our bedroom. I woke up in the middle of the night to a *ding* sound like someone flicked the bedside lamp with their finger. I didn't think much of it at first and just lay awake listening. There was then a second *ding* like someone flicked the wardrobe mirror, which I thought was a bit weird and so started listening more intently. There was then the sound of footsteps scuffing on carpet and the feeling of a presence approaching the door of our room, to which I started to freak out a little since there was nobody else in the house other than my wife who was asleep beside me. As I lay awake listening there was a single, firm knock on the door. I was literally frozen by fear, then it happened again, two knocks this time. I laid there and tried to nudge my wife awake but I was too scared to move and couldn't even manage that, so I pretty much held my breath and didn't move. A couple of minutes passed with no further occurrences and there was a feeling of the presence departing - not walking away because there was no sound but just fading. When this happened suddenly I was able to move again so I jumped out of the bed and flung the door open but there wad nothing there. I ran around the house looking for an intruder but found nothing, of course. When I got back to the room a couple of minutes later the time was, and I kid you not, as cheesy as it sounds, 3:35 am.
Several years ago I was watching TV and my wife was in the shower. From the lounge chair I could see into the bedroom and I saw a woman walk from the bathroom to the bed so I thought my wife had gotten out of the shower. I went in to see what was taking so long since I was waiting to watch TV with her and the bathroom door was closed and the bedroom was empty. Upon checking my wife had never even left the bathroom and I was really freaked out.
Just recently I went to our laundry to put some clothes in there and I saw someone sitting in the study as I passed the room. My father in law was staying with us so I assumed it was him as he spends a lot of time in there. Then I realised that the light was out in the room and that he was at the gym. I peeked back into the room but nobody was there. The kicker is that he left his PC on which goes standby after a couple of minutes and he had been gone for at least 45 minutes. The reason I knew someone was in the room was that the light from the screen which had been activated and was now lit up was shining on their face! From my memory and the glance I got the figure looked like my father in law but with grossly exaggerated features, such as small eyes, bald head, oversized teeth, overly thin.
Wow I wrote quite a bit, hope somebody reads it. :)

Thank you very much for sharing such interesting, spooky experiences. I got spooked when reading the second story, since I started to hear the smallest creaks and noises in my home as I read. haha, very nice. Seems like you are sensitive to noticing spirits. Very interesting.

lool i will never ever enter that area with that doll!!!!!
A new movie called "The Conjuring" should be watched! It is super cool. Scary...creepy and is one of those that you think you aren't scared but when you get home, some weird feelings and parts of the movie stick with you lol. It is supposedly based on real life events. Go watch it... no regrets!

CinnamonSwirls7 vuotta sitten#1627993Yeah, I guess there is also the term "fear of the unknown". I guess, the fact that evil exists and that it can possess you and make you do crazy shit really gets to me. You never know when it'll hit you either. I am not sure what to believe when it comes to Annelise. There are things that can be explained when looking at her case and it could be said that she believed she was possessed (thus she acted how she did. It all is influenced by religion). There are some events that occurred in her "possessed state" that actually cannot be explained. So it really is a 50/50 chance whether or not she was really possessed. No one really knows. I believe some form of evil got to her perhaps.
Anyways, I still haven't watched any of the sequels or the remake for The Exorcist. Honestly, the movie itself never scared me, but the thought of possession and demons did. I'll have to look into those other movies you're recommending though. I have to say, I am alittle disappointed with the new horror movies that have been released lately. They are all just cheesy jump-scares and most scenes are laughable. You forget about it afterwards too. It doesn't really get into your mind nor do the characters/ story really do it any justice. I think, one that also got to, but wasn't scary AT ALL (infact, it made me laugh a lot, since it's an older film) was "The Omen" which is about a young boy who is possessed by the devil himself. I have also heard promising things about "The Exorcism of Emily Rose".
Oh, speaking of "The Exorcist" I actually went to a museum in New York and they had a doll which is Regan's possessed state used in the actual movie. It's kind of freaky to be in the same room as it, but I got really close and took of photo of it on my phone, haha. It's really cool.

Lexiy7 vuotta sitten#1627935Wow this is too much of a coincidence!!!
I love scary movies but my "trauma" and "red zone" are also the Possession ones. I can't watch them smoothly like other scary movies. You should watch a movie called "The Shrine" LOL.
I think the reason why we fear or at least feel uncomfortable with the possession type of movies is because we know ghost might not exist and the grudge and such neither, but we since kids are taught values and principles that include beliefs in good and evil or religion. So, since we don't know if the "dude down there" exist or not, we feel that from all scary movies, this could be the closest one to ever happening in real life. Also, due to the numerous reported cases of possession that have taken place in the last century, it is then for us a reality that these things could be real.
The issue arises is when science comes into play. There is a fine line between insanity and possession. We can prove Schizophrenia but it is much more difficult to prove possession.
In my book, "Stigmata" is as scary as the Exorcist. I mean, have you seen that movie? Imagine walking into a room with a woman possessed like in Stigmata.... I would shit my pants.
The belief that something can get inside of you and take control it seems to affect humans a lot, specially if that thing that gets inside you is what we are taught to fear or to condemn since we are young kids by our parents and religion.
I got to say, I saw the EX2 and I got traumatized a bit LOL! Specially the part were Reagan is doing the regression session and she sees that "thing" in her bed and shit..woo creepppppyy..
The makeup for the EX1 is tremendously insane too... if you google her up, you can find a high res picture of her face only and shiet its insanely more scary than perhaps any other horror movie char. But, then again maybe because we know why she is in that state and looking like that. If we had no background of her char and we just stumble on that pic online, I don't think it would have much impact at all.
On the German girl, type "Tsunami" on youtube and you will see she appears on the freaking sponsored!!! I freaked out one time I was looking for the Tsunami in Japan like two years ago and she popped out with her lip all fucked up... crazy...
