Re-authorised PayPal on the site and got the payment confirmed email instantly.
Weird, but at least she's paid now
I was literally checking my spam folder every 5 minutes when everyone started talking about the payment email. It finally arrived as a failed payment warning.

GSC global needs to fix its email DNS records as it appears to be a widespread issue. Perhaps your email provider completely filtered the email since I keep finding some of their messages in spam and some in the inbox.

Luckily thought to check my email as well for the payment confirmation that went to spam. Unfortunately did not select JPY as my currency at time of purchase...oof.
