His face bothered me from the start, I think GSC tried to stick too close to his 3D model and it didn't translate well to chibi form. His forearms also look kind of long and they clearly changed the winking face in the announcement illustration when creating the prototype.

I made an edit using his illustration as part of the reference, which still looks off, but whatever lol.

When I mean lack luster I mean he just is lacking poses. For example his announcement picture, I would've preordered him on spot for that pose. What we got isn't as flowy, or really natural. It just feels stiff. ohh makes sense, i feel that way about my sakura nendoroid it literally has like 3 poses and no accessories, the venti nendoroid is so cute but i agree it needs more dynamic poses

I think Venti, as well as future characters, would look better as a nendoroid doll. The clothes won’t be in the way of the body and it probably wouldn’t look awkward. I’m still buying him though lol

Glad to see other people dont like him either lol, when I told my friends I thought he looked stiff they said they " couldn't see it at all ".
