Do you seriously think that people who buy recasts don't put as much time and effort into assembling them as those who buy ~authentic~ kits? And all of that effort is worth nothing? Well, I suppose that's true, if all you care about is the dubious status symbol of owning an original kit or its supposed increasing value (which isn't going to be much if you've assembled it poorly), not the enjoyment of putting it together or the quality of your finished figure.

Also all some of us CAN manage to buy is a recast or bootleg. Also I've seen plenty of them of this statue in peticelar and most of them though different in some aspects maybe are quite beautiful still despite being a bootleg version.So I totally agree with your argument here.
