mikki-malu4 vuotta sitten#5287168I don't know what it means but the result is upsetting. It's the first time I see such an effect on my figure and now I expect Pochaco noodle stopper might have the same problem. I even checked my other figures around this Sonico but they all seem OK, even another Furyu Sonico with a donut (but she stands farther from light). A figure which cannot absolutely be exposed to any amount of natural light is sort of a headache for me :/
It's a little odd that it would only affect one figure though, since it looks to me like using raw PVC as skin is a common practice, especially on prize figures. (Since PVC looks softer without primer+paint over it, but paint is much more UV resistant.) I generally assume the worst and avoid exposing any figures to sunlight, but I can see how that'd become a serious headache with a larger collection.

Limited4 vuotta sitten#5286482If I had to guess, her skin probably isn't painted; rather it's dyed PVC with a little shading added on top. It would explain why the skin is fading while the other colors aren't.

mikki-malu4 vuotta sitten#5286428Just noticed the skin faded on the side facing the light from the window. She's not even that much exposed to sunlight so I guess it's the paint, it doesn't hold very well. All other colors seem to be OK but the skin is not pink anymore on her left side and face. All I can do now is to expose her other side to the sun for balance. Keep your Sonicos fully in shadow, just in case.
