GokaiSilver452 (13 päivää sitten) #31072832Thanks for the heads up! Much appreciated.

No problem! I was also worried about Amazon JP and figures pre-orders. I'm glad that international shipping is allowed now!

musicrave (13 päivää sitten) #31072565Hey, I just tried to preorder him via Amazon JP. It works now. When I contacted customer service when it wasn't leeting me before, they said items have to be approved for international shipping. I guess their approval process was just taking a while.
Thanks for the heads up! Much appreciated.

GokaiSilver452 (1 kuukautta sitten) #30894548For some reason I can't order him via Amazon Japan? I was able to order Zack and Cid without any issues, but delivery to an international address is prohibited with this one.

Stacycmc (27 päivää sitten) #30905606Well, they are...they are just much smaller than Play Arts and are from a different company. I believe Figma is Max Factory where Play Arts Kai is Square Enix. Figma's are jointed as well, so are in the action figure category, same as Play Arts, but their style and size are pretty different.
I actually like both lines, and have both in my collection, but the Play Arts are a good deal larger (I believe they are like 1/6 scale versus the Figma's 1/12 scale...I think that's right anyway). Play Arts also takes a more realistic approach to me, whereas Figma is more of that animated look kind of (guess that's how you could describe it)...
Best way to really tell though, is to just look through the figures on the links I shared previously. You can really see the differences from viewing several of each.
This is not the greatest example, because this is actually one of the less realistic looking Play Arts Kai figures, but you can at least see the size comparison... The two figures on the far left are Figma, the large one in the middle is a Play Arts Kai, and I think the one on the right is a Revoltech or something. Hope that helps...

Ah! I see. I looked at the photos in the link before, and I get what you're saying about how Play Arts Kai figures look more realistic, while Figmas looks more anime like.
Thank you for the long detailed explanation!
So what did you mean by movable figures? You said you weren't a fan of them, but you have other figures by Square Enix.

SilentSwordsman (27 päivää sitten) #30905501I get what you're saying. That makes sense. I must have been misinformed. I always though that a Figma was like an expensive high quality action figure. A figure with joints.
