The figure arrived completely broken.
They gave me the choice of either sending it back on my costs. Which is extremely expensive.
Or I get some (not all - around 50%) of the "money" back via story credit.
Both options are garbage for me.
Ugh...and I have also pre-ordered Miku from them. And Miku looks SUPER fragile.
I am doomed.
In short: I can not recommend SugoToys. Sadly. T_T
Anyone having similar experiences? So, I am having a bad experince with Sugotoys right now for a figure that was shipped recently (my first shipment from Sugotoys).
I've had quite a few things delivered from SugoToys and my experience with them have been quite good, granted I'm also an Australian.
Being an Australian company themselves though, they are bound by the Australian consumer laws and you have the choice of complaining to ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) as well. That sounds like something ACCC could look at if they can't offer a solution to your satisfaction.
Make sure you give them an ultimatum about what you want (for example "full refund/store credit and the shop cover shipping fee for the return") and that you will be complaining to the ACCC before you actually make the complaint, as is required by our consumer laws.

Anyone having similar experiences? In short: I can not recommend SugoToys. Sadly. T_T
Thank you for sharing your experience with us - very sorry about what happened. I always ventured to other 'not so common' sites such as this one since I hear people mentioning them as a safe option, but I definitely won't be browsing their site anymore... It's unacceptable to not give a full refund for a broken figure. I'm curious if there's an update to your situation. I would definitely do a chargeback at this rate if they aren't offering anymore fair solutions, since you won't be shopping there anymore that's for sure...

what about tax ? will you be getting tax fee too ? because its outsite eu ? i really want to buy her but i rather buy her inside eu :/
If you find her inside EU (which I highly doubt, except someone wants to sell her private), go for it!
I was lucky enough to receive Kitsune without paying any taxes, but I always need to pay taxes when I order from Good Smile or AmiAmi, so there's a high chance taxes will be added. (・_・;)

(Even so I'm always worried with each of my orders outside germany, doesn't matter where I order from, so a bit anxiety is normal I guess?^^) I feel you, first time ordering there was scary for me too, but I tried it because I had no other place to order Myethos Kitsune and everything worked perfectly. Also I heard only good experience from other statue buyers before and they have a large Facebook Site, so I'm pretty sure there is nothing to worry^^

The word definitely needs to be spread. So, I am having a bad experince with Sugotoys right now for a figure that was shipped recently (my first shipment from Sugotoys).
Myethos does have a contact page on their website. (www.myethos.hk/...) I am not sure if that's good enough, but I am really hoping they will understand your situation and send you a copy.

WOW. That's totally unacceptable. Had I known this I would not have ordered through Sugo Toys and gone with the third party on Amazon.jp instead. And unfortunately I paid through Paypal where disputes are a pain, I wish I used my credit card directly, they support their customers far better in disputes.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm sorry, that sounds terrible. Honestly, I would do a chargeback if those are the options they are giving you. You paid for the item so it should be shipped to you responsibly and without damage. If they want to blame it on the shipping company, they should be able to file a claim and not put that on the customer. You should not have to take all of the risk. I would do a chargeback and never use their services again.

I'm sorry that happened to you! Plus they will give you 50% credit back in the store? I don't know but for me that's pretty bad. 50% if there is something that broke a little or something, but if your figure arrive completely broken then you need to get 100% of the refund. I never experience SugoToys before, but since some people were recommending SugoToys I would also recommend it too.
If you want, try to contact Myethos (idk if there is a way). The reason I say this because people will contact Good Smile if their product came damaged or missing an item. Maybe Myethos will send you a new product just like Good Smile. I hope everything turns out well.
