Milady-Alluca Obnoxiously Wordy
And on that day, collectorkind received a grim reminder. We lived in fear of the per-person limits, and were disgraced to live in the envy we called disadvantageous circumstances.

>follows an order period and not a capped amount
>require use of different addresses to acquire more than 3 units
So, it's a capped amount then, and you're suggesting bypassing it by using multiple addresses?
Why would one require multiple addresses to acquire more than 3 units of a certain merchandise when one could go to an event and essentially acquire ∞ units? Guess that's how organizers and figure companies entice you to attend events huh, lol

You didn't understand my point or rather you changed the agenda to reflect on a question that is quietly focusing towards scalpers.

The point of multiple addresses of course bypasses the 3 per person. I see a lot of group orders do this who are around the area to save on shipping. People use their addresses to group order up to 6-12 figures. Granted my original comment was towards the regular audience where one would order one figure which I did make my point; however, I was just sharing the blatant option of bypassing the 3 limit which essentially removes the cap.

I'll say it once more. Good Smile Company follows an order period. How many orders they get, they will make. The purchase has to be made during their order period. Any who misses the order period, oh well, bummer. Maybe someone might giveaway their pre-order or you'll have to hunt after market.

So it isn't a capped amount. Anyone can bypass the 3 per person limit; however, again, my comment was only leaning towards those who were complaining they couldn't get one and that it was unfair. I think it's quite fair if the website offered it for sale on their site for a limited time.

If it were a 1000 piece only limited to the con and not for sale on the online shop and one was to buy multiples then that would be "unfair".

Just keep your assumptions coming, it's funny how many people are very hateful of these things.

DonkeyBlonkey (4 vuotta sitten) #2239525I sure hope people are aware GSC follows an order period not a capped amount.
So regardless if one were to order more than 3 by using other account's addresses it wouldn't even matter.
Everyone gets a fair chance to order, just as long as you purchase one before the order period ends.

My real question is how you carried all that. Did you have to shop in batches, had a team handy to carry as you bought, maybe a bunch of friends who bought a few of each? Even a shopping cart couldn't hold all that LOL.

Per-person limits only can go but so far. Same goes with online shopping though. At NYCC I was looking at the SNK figmas (pre-release) and some guy was saying he ordered like... 10 Mikasas. That was when people were struggling to get one order in.
