I bought my first figure around 2010 (ITEM #16890), but didn't start collecting them as a hobby until early 2016.
I mostly use this site for tracking upcoming releases, but I do enjoy looking at people's collections and reading the articles/blogs that they write. I've been exposed to so many things that I wouldn't have otherwise known about, so it's been a really fun learning experience.
I'm a big fan of Tsunako's (ENCYCLOPEDIA #50262) art and character design, especially her work on the Neptunia, Fairy Fencer, and Date A Live franchises. My personal favorites are IF, Nitroplus-chan, and MAGES..
